We have a fantastic new opportunity for an experienced Used Car Mechanic to join our highly supportive team based in Homebush Service Centre. The role involves all aspects of mechanical work including diagnosis, repair and replacement of parts and accessories. This is an independent role, where you’ll be the sole Used Car Mechanic on-site—but you’ll have full support from our larger dealership workshop team whenever needed.

What the role involves:

Examine used cars to identify any mechanical, cosmetic, or safety issues.

Perform various repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure used cars meet quality standards.

Conduct quality control checks and tests to verify that the vehicle meets safety and performance standards after repairs and maintenance.

Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities performed on each used car.

What we are looking for:

Certified Mechanic with a current Motor Vehicles Tradesperson Certificate.

Significant experience as a mechanic preferably working on a range of brands.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously.

Passion for cars and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.

A current driver's license.
