Barcaldine Pharmacy is looking for a Dispensary Technician with Certificate 3 or 4 in Community Pharmacy. Our current dispensary technician will be going on maternity leave, so this position will be a full time temporary/contract position from 01 June 2025 for 12 months.

We are willing to pay up to $37/hr for the right applicant with experience and certification.

Working as part of an energetic team your duties may include;

Dispensing Medication using MINFOS

Dispensary Stock Control, Ordering, Stock Maintenance and Data Entry

Prescription Procedures and Professional Services Administration

General Housekeeping and Cleaning

Supporting Pharmacist Services

Medication Packing Services

This is a full time role working Monday to Friday 0900 to 1700 hours. Saturday work and hours may be negotiable for the right applicant.

Certificate III or IV is required, however throw your hat in the ring if you have retail experience, strong work ethic and a willingness to learn!
