Firbank Grammar is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to work in our Senior School in a fixed-term, part-time, position. We are looking for someone who is passionate about the education and wellbeing of students and applying the best practice for our Senior School students to achieve success.

The key role of this job is to provide engaging and thoughtful lessons, following planned activities in accordance with the faculty syllabi and school priorities. You will play a pivotal role in fostering a love for literature and language by creating engaging and innovative lessons that inspire students to excel.

This is a part-time (0.6 FTE) fixed-term role at our Brighton Senior School Campus, commencing in Term 2 and concluding at the end of Term 4 (April 23rd - December 12th, 2025). This position will teach 1 x Year 8 English class and 2 x Year 9 English classes.

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience teaching Year 8 or 9 English would be advantageous
• Current VIT registration
