We are currently looking to grow our longstanding client relationships and are seeking an Experienced Store Person / Yard Hand for a new role based in Lake Macquarie.

Our team seeks individuals who demonstrate exceptional risk management and safety practices, combined with a strong focus on productivity.

The Role

We are seeking an Experienced Store Person / Yard Hand based on site in the Lake Macquarie NSW area. The successful candidate will report to the Store Manager onsite and undertake a range of duties to support the daily operations of an Underground mine site.

Duties include

Communicate with Store Manager to determine work priorities

Keep material stock up to date, Setup and pack up equipment

General site clean-up work

Set up and pack up equipment

Adhere to site policies and procedures

Actively participate in daily risk management processes

Skills, Experience & Requirements

Previous relevant experience

Current NSW Order 43 Medical (preferred)

Current forklift licence

Good work ethic and reliability is paramount

Confidence to effectively communicate

Current drivers' licence and must have own transport

White Card

High level of physical fitness to perform the lifting / manual handling of this role

Experience in documented risk management processes – JSEA, SWMS, Take 5, etc

Be able to complete and pass a full medical including drug and alcohol testing
