Experienced Level 2/3 IT Engineer – MSP | Modern Work & M365 Expert

We’re looking for a Level 2/3 IT Support Engineer with proven experience in the Managed Services space. This role is ideal for a confident technical generalist who’s worked across a range of environments, loves engaging with clients, and can own issues through to resolution.

About the Role

You’ll work in a Level 2+ capacity, acting as an escalation point for support tickets, managing client systems, supporting projects, and delivering excellent service across cloud, infrastructure, and security stacks. Every day is different — and you'll be exposed to a wide range of environments and technologies.

Must-Have Requirements (Please do not apply unless you meet all of the below):

3+ years in a Level 2 role within an MSP or similarly broad IT support environment

2+ years hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and Intune in SMB environments

Proven customer-facing experience with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong problem-solving ability and confidence managing escalated support issues

Valid driver’s license and a reliable, work-safe vehicle

Full working rights in Australia

Technical Requirements

Strong experience in:

Microsoft 365 – Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams

Microsoft Intune – device provisioning, policy management, Autopilot deployments

Azure AD / Entra ID – MFA, Conditional Access, role-based access

Microsoft Defender for Business / Endpoint, Secure Score, and general M365 security

PowerShell (basic to intermediate scripting)

Microsoft 365 licensing and right-sizing for SMBs

Windows desktops in hybrid and cloud environments

Windows Server, Group Policy, RDS

Hyper-V virtualisation

Backup and disaster recovery platforms

Network config and troubleshooting – VPN, DNS, wireless, routers, switches, firewalls

Experience with Microsoft Security tools and frameworks is highly regarded

Microsoft Certifications will be strongly considered
