Role Overview
As an HR Business Partner, you will report directly to the Senior HR Manager and be responsible for driving key HR initiatives across the organisation. Your daily responsibilities will include supporting senior leadership with talent management, workforce planning, and employee relations. You will collaborate with department heads to implement HR policies, ensuring alignment with business goals, and provide guidance on complex HR issues.

This is a high-impact role where you will have the opportunity to shape organisational culture and directly influence business decisions. Your expertise will help improve employee experience and support business growth through strategic HR practices. Responsibilities

  • Lead initiatives to shape and foster a positive, high-performance organisational culture that aligns with the company's values.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support business growth and long-term objectives.
  • Develop and implement programs to improve employee experience, engagement, and retention across the organisation.
  • Offer expert HR advice and support to senior leaders, influencing key business decisions with a focus on people strategy.
  • Lead performance management process, supporting managers to drive individual and team performance, and implement development plans.
  • Support and manage organisational change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and alignment with the business's strategic direction.
  • Ensure the implementation and adherence to HR policies, procedures, and legal compliance in line with Australian employment law.
  • Partner with leaders to identify talent needs, succession planning, and support recruitment efforts to meet organisational objectives.
  • Provide guidance and support on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
  • Identify skill gaps and drive employee development programs to enhance capability and support business growth.

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years of experience in an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist role, ideally in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. With a proven track record in driving HR initiatives, managing employee relations, and supporting senior leadership in strategic decision-making, you'll bring a results-oriented approach to the role. Experience in performance management, organisational change, and talent management is essential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are key, as is the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. A solid understanding of Australian employment law and HR best practices is required. This 12-month contract role requires a proactive individual ready to contribute to improving employee engagement and supporting the business's success.
