The Physiotherapist role on offer is suitable for candidates looking to work and gain more experience with a sports team in addition to working on a mixture of musculoskeletal and sports injuries within the clinic.

In clinic role:

You will be working with a variety of patients in the Richmond community who present to us with sports and MSK injuries. Additionally, you will be working under the guidance of 2 APA Titled Sports Physiotherapists with onside professional development and weekly mentorship given.

Work days: Monday, Wednesday Friday (Flexible with days)

Sports Team role:

You will be working with the senior sports teams of a prestegious private school, who compete at a high level. Ongoing mentorship under elite level strength and conditioning coaches at the sports team is a big bonus to improve on your exercise prescription skills as you learn from some of the coaches who have worked with international teams.

Work days: Tuesday (3:30 - 5:30 PM), Thursday (3:30 - 5:30) , Saturday (10 am - 12 am)

Additional Clinical Work:

Initially this is a part time role, with a potential to work full time at our Richmond and South Yarra location.

To qualify for this role, the candidate must fullfil the following criteria:

Bachelor in Physiotherapy with a full AHPRA registration with no restrictions to practice in Australia.

Over 1 year of work experience in clinical physiotherapy including private practice.

Previous sporting team experience is preferred, but not compulsory.

Candidates must already be in Australia as we are not able to provide sponsorship.

You will assist the Lead Physiotherapist and the clinic director in implementing up to date clinical procedures to ensure excellent clinical care for all your patients and will liaise with all key stakeholders at SportsHealth Physio and Podiatry clinic, including team members, patients, and referrers.
