About the role

2 days a week, Wednesday and Thursday.

Mediport is seeking an HR Driver to join our business in Burnie or the surrounding areas.

A truck will come from Melbourne containing pallets of healthcare products for the wholesalers in Tasmania.

The role includes collecting the truck from Burnie on Wednesday morning, driving to Hobart, completing deliveries, staying overnight and driving back the following day to deliver to the wholesalers in Launceston before returning the truck to the port.

A refrigerated van will be provided to travel to and from the Port.

In this varied and important role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of vital medical supplies and equipment to healthcare facilities across the region.

What you'll be doing

Safely operate MR/HR vehicles to transport medical items, equipment and supplies to healthcare providers

Ensure all deliveries are completed in a timely manner and to the highest standards

Liaise with customers to address any delivery-related queries or concerns

Support the wider team with additional tasks as required

What we're looking for

A current HR driver's licence and clean driving record

Previous experience as a commercial driver, preferably in the healthcare or logistics sectors

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders

Strong organisation and time management skills to ensure efficient deliveries

A commitment to safety and attention to detail
