About the opportunity:

Position: Registered Nurse

Vacancy: Permanent, Temporary and Casual opportunities. There is also a Fixed term temporary full-time opportunity available for 6 months, with the possibility of extension, not exceeding 12 months

Location: Charters Towers Rehabilitation Unit, Charters Towers

This role is diverse and requires nursing staff to provide nursing care for consumers with a mental health as well as support to manage chronic disease, wound management, and recovery from substance use disorders.

All employees of the Mental Health Service Group may be required to work in other areas of the Service.

• Salary range: $3171.90 to $4068.50 p.f. (NG5)
• Annual leave with 17.5% loading
• 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation

Requirements:

• Mandatory qualifications (Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent) and proof of registration (if applicable).
• Possession of class C drivers' licence.
• This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.
• Probation period may apply.
• Pre-employment checks will be conducted including criminal history clearance.
