This is a well-respected and reputable 3 x Director firm that will add a high standing to your CV and career, adding greatly to your client exposure. You will be responsible for delivering a full range of accounting and business advisory services to a wide range of clients and sectors.

Located in the CBD-fringe in modern facilities, the firm is cloud-focused, progressive and will support CA/CPA, and provides regular internal/external training/mentoring along with ongoing social events.

This is a high-end intermediate, or senior role, which includes producing financial statements; tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships; via large groups, SMEs and individuals, along with client and agency liaison.

DUTIES:

• Prepare financial s/ments & ITRs for individuals, p/ships, companies, trusts

• Prepare and review complex tax returns for mainly SMEs and/or HNWIs

• Prepare BAS, and IAS for clients

• Provide complex tax advice to clients

• Dealing with CGT, Div7a, UPE, GST, SBTC, FTE/IEE, and FBT

• Assist with ad-hoc projects as required and audit assistance to clients

• Develop and maintain relationships with clients

• Comply with professional standards and relevant legislation

• Provide technical advice to clients, whilst managing a portfolio of clients

• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data, with all deadlines met

• Support junior staff members with their work papers and mentorship

• Keep up to date with taxation laws and changes, and partake in training

• Implement sound administrative and organisational processes

• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal

• Proficient with MYOB AE/AR & XERO
