The Role

Take your part in Freedom Internet team delivering telecommunication services to our fantastic clients. Freedom Internet builds and operates a network that we are proud of.

• Installation of antennas and radios on rooftops
• Cabling through buildings between communication equipment
• Installation of modems in apartments and homes

• Installation and maintenance of telecommunications facilities, including:
• Updating tickets with information on completed jobs and time entries.
• Conduct surveys to determine installation requirements for future deployments
• Participation in the on-call roster

About You

The successful applicant for this role loves working outdoors and takes pride in their work. They’ll also have the following attributes/qualifications:

• ACMA Cabling license
• Experience working on telecommunications networks
• Good computer literacy – able to use Microsoft office applications to send emails and create documents
• Experience with point-to-point wireless links is advantageous, but not required
• Ability to climb ladders and work on building rooftops with appropriate safety gear.
• Experience with hand tools
• Working at Heights experience advantageous
