Training & Volunteer Manager
The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award is the world’s leading Framework for organising and accrediting non-formal education for young people aged 14-24. In Australia, over 940,000 young Australians have completed a Level of the Duke of Ed Framework since becoming available in 1959. The Australian National Award Office (Sydney) provides the leadership and enabling environment for the State & Territory Duke of Ed offices (Divisions) to deliver the Framework to over 54,000 users annually through 1,200 Duke of Ed Centres and some 60,000. volunteers.
The Role:
The primary responsibilities of this role are: - Volunteer & Staff Training and Development, Volunteer Management and Engagement, Stakeholder & Leadership Support (as it pertains to Training and Development and Volunteer Management and Engagement), Resource development, and associated Administration and Compliance.
You will (for example): -
Lead the design, implementation and delivery of Volunteer and Staff Training and Development and associated resources;
Oversee Duke of Ed Leader onboarding;
Standardise engagement, management, and recognition policy and practices – Australia-wide.
You will have: -
A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (essential)
5+ years' experience in adult Training & Development and in Volunteer Management, with a proven track record in instructional design and eLearning development (essential).
Strong experience leading change, successfully implementing new training modules, programs, and methods (essential).
Hands-on experience with LMS platforms (essential).
Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills - you know how to influence and drive learning adoption across all levels of an organisation.
Strategic level thinking who can execute and adapt in a fast-paced, growth driven environment.
High attention to detail with excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
A demonstrated passion for coaching, mentoring and empowering teams to grow.
