Gamekeepers of Australia is seeking an experienced Butcher / Boner to join our team in the Bayside & South Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria. This full-time role is responsible for the skilled preparation and processing of meats to the highest standards, ensuring a consistent and quality product for our valued customers.

The position:

• Monday to Friday
• 4.00am-Midday
• Butchering and boning a variety of meats, ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation
• Cutting, trimming, and preparing meat products to customer specifications
• Processing meat using knives, cleavers, saws and other equipment preparing cuts for weighing, packing or further processing
• All aspects of general butchery and smallgoods making is required
• Ensuring adherence to all food safety and hygiene regulations

The candidate:

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a qualified Butcher / Boner
• Demonstrated expertise in the full range of butchery techniques and meat preparation
• Good knowledge of food safety, quality standards, and hygiene practices
• Keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards
• Good physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong teamworking skills and the ability to contribute to a positive work culture
