We are seeking a qualified butcher to join our family-owned company for casual work approximately 20 hours over 3 days per week. No weekends!

The Role will report to our Purchasing Manager. The successful applicant will be responsible for the following:

• Preparation of products, including cutting, trimming, and slicing
• Operation of machinery and equipment, including mincer, grinder, and band saw, etc.
• Packing, wrapping, and labelling products (as required)
• Maintaining general department cleanliness
• Compliance with all relevant legislation, including Food Safety, Trade Measurement, and Occupational Health & Safety, etc.
• Uphold and maintain all Policies & Procedures, including uniform standards
• Any other tasks as required by the Butchery Manager and Store Manager

About You:

• Trade qualified butcher
• Experience with sausage making advantageous but not required.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Highly organized and efficient with good work ethic
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to adhere to all Policies & Procedures
