QMM is currently searching for Boilermakers to join our team.

This role is casual to commence with (with a view to moving to permanent full time in the future for the right person), so please only apply if you are able to work a minimum 38 - 40 hours per week.

As a member of the team, you will be a qualified boilermaker with extensive knowledge in steel welding and fabrication of mining machinery.

Working in a diverse environment, you will be responsible for safely welding a range of manufactured equipment to a high standard of quality.

The successful candidate will possess the following:

Experience in a similar role

Trade Qualified

Experience in reading and interpreting drawings an advantage but not necessary

An ability and desire to produce the highest quality fabrications

Current forklift license an advantage

OH&S awareness

This position is either based at our workshop, or working offsite using one of our mobile welding trailers, with pay increasing at these times.

A weld test will be mandatory for this role.
