Phronesis Education

Phronesis Education is an online tutoring service founded in 2020. We support students in Australia and internationally, from primary school through to university. Our focus is on building real English proficiency through meaningful, engaging lessons—beyond just test preparation.

What We Offer

- $40–$75 AUD per hour + superannuation

Who We’re Looking For

We welcome:

- Pre-service teachers

- Qualified teachers

- Individuals with backgrounds in English, Literature, or Philosophy

- Proficiency in both Mandarin and English is highly regarded

Ideal candidates are:

- Passionate about student learning and language development

- Able to tailor lessons to individual student needs

- Confident using online teaching tools

- Experienced (or eager to gain experience) in working with students

- Foundation English (Prep – Year 6)

- English Immersion (Year 7 – Year 12)

- AEAS/NAPLAN Preparation

- VCE Subjects (Years 11 – 12)

- Academic Writing and Public Speaking (Undergraduate and Graduate)

- IELTS/PTE and Scholarship Test Preparation

- Adult English for daily and professional use
