The Role:
Work with the Team Leader Civil Maintenance to deliver programmed and reactive works as required across the Field Services Department.
This 2-year traineeship will see you getting paid to study and work towards a nationally recognised Certificate III in Concreting, while receiving continuous mentoring, and all relevant tickets/licences to ensure you are setup upon completion.
Duties Include:
- Site preparation including digging and levelling
- Apply and pour concrete
- Concrete repairs
- Concrete cutting, finishing and polishing
- Place and fix reinforcement materials
- Read and interpret site plans
- Concrete footpaths and kerbing
About You:
- Love working hands-on and outdoors
- A strong work ethic; punctual and reliable
- Great communication skills
- Thrive working in team environments
- A go-getter who takes initiative and problem-solves
Role Requirements:
- Provisional or full driver’s licence and own vehicle
- White Card (or willing to obtain)
- Physically fit and healthy due to undertaking manual labour work
- Satisfactorily pass a pre-employment assessment, including a drug and alcohol test
- Previous experience or qualification in construction, landscaping or similar trade (desirable)
