About the role

Join Torstar as a full-time Store Person based in Jamisontown, NSW. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate handling of inventory, ensuring that all items are properly stored, picked and packed for distribution. With a focus on delivering exceptional customer service, you will play a crucial part in the smooth operation of our logistics operations.

What you'll be doing

Receiving and unloading incoming shipments, verifying quantities and ensuring proper storage

Picking, packing and preparing orders for timely dispatch

Maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting regular stock counts

Ensuring the warehouse and storage areas are kept clean, safe and organised

Assisting with general warehouse tasks as required

Providing excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders

Assembling of furniture and use of hand tools.

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or store person role

Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Familiarity with inventory management systems and warehouse operations

A positive, proactive and team-oriented attitude

Ability to lift and move heavy items as required

Forklift licence would be an advantage

Must have current and valid drivers licence

Knowledge of hand tools and how to use.
