We are looking for enthusiastic Registered Nurses with experience in acute surgical ward settings to join the team at ESPH on a casual basis.

East Sydney Private Hospital is a busy acute surgical private hospital located within a short walk to the city of Sydney. Specializing in major Orthopaedic, ENT, Plastic, Ophthalmic, gynaecology, pain management and Bariatric surgeries Close to public transport. Great friendly staff and team environment.

Qualifications & experience

Registered as a General Nurse Division 1 with AHPRA (no restrictions)

Relevant Clinical experience - Minimum 2 years post registration.

Tasks & responsibilities

Care of patients following a variety surgery.

Excellent assessment and communication skills. Ability to work as a team member

Ability to work in an ever-changing and fast paced environment

A strong work ethic, positive attitude and willingness to role model and promote ESPH values

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise with all levels of the multidisciplinary team

Demonstrated ability to operate both in a team environment and autonomously using initiative, sound reasoning and strong listening, negotiation and decision-making skills

Commitment to ensuring high levels of service is always delivered to patients at all times

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
