Swim Squad Coach with Hampton Swim School – Brisbane

Hampton Swim School is looking for a reliable, passionate and enthusiastic person to join our team on a permanent part-time basis. This role has a minimum guaranteed hours of between 12-20 hrs per week year-round, with additional hours available from September holidays through to the end of April School Holidays.

An exciting vacancy exists for an experienced and qualified coach to take the lead of our squad program TEAM ACCELERATE at one of our pools. We are seeking enthusiastic mature applicants for this role, and have a year-round long-term position in our heated facility available for a committed and dedicated candidate.

TEAM ACCELERATE is the swim squad program designed to keep kids swimming after learn to swim, to develop a life long love and appreciation of water. They may swim for FUN, for continued FORM, or for FITNESS to complement their other sport. Or, they may swim to be FAST and win races! Our program welcomes and caters to all swimmers, whether they wish to compete or not, and requires a Coach who is:

* Prepared to set achievable enjoyable swim sets including engaging skills and drills activities, combined with endurance-based lap sets, developing a reusable program along the way.

* Able and willing to work with our young squad swimmers who range in age mostly from 6 - 14 years

* A positive behaviour management-based leader who comes with personality plus, as much about the fun as you are about swimming technique, and with a relationship building approach.

* A self-motivated and customer-orientated attitude, with the ability to work well in a team and contribute to the open exchange of ideas and discussion
