Description
The PhD candidate will undertake a research project as part of the ARC Centre of Excellence in Plants for Space. The Centre aims to create on-demand, zero-waste, high efficiency plants and plant products to address grand challenges in food insecurity and environmental sustainability for Space and on Earth.
The PhD project itself will focus on human-plant interactions, that is interactions between humans and plants in terms of people caring for them as well as eating them, to ascertain the psychological benefits derived from these interactions. The PhD candidate will be supervised by Professor Eva Kemps and Dr Kenneth Sim, and be based in the College of Education, Psychology and Social Work at Flinders University.
