About the role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Small Engine Mechanic to join our team at Benalla Motorcycles & Power Equipment. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of a wide range of small engines, including those in SXS, ride on mowers, lawn mowers, chainsaws, trimmers, and other power equipment. Located in Benalla, VIC, this position offers an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable and established company in the automotive trades industry.

What you'll be doing

• Diagnose and repair issues with small engines, including troubleshooting, disassembly, and replacement of faulty parts
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tune-ups, and filter replacements
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed and parts used
• Provide excellent customer service and advice to clients
• Assist with the general operations of the workshop as needed

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Small Engine Mechanic or in a similar role
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to safety and attention to detail
