About the role

We are seeking an experienced Boilermaker/Welder to join our team at WeldMech Fabrication in Elizabeth South, South Australia. This is a full-time position that will involve working on a variety of structural steel fabrication and welding projects in our well-equipped workshop.

What you'll be doing

Perform welding tasks to a high standard using a range of welding techniques and equipment

Fabricate and weld structural steel members

Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and work orders to complete tasks accurately

Operate machinery and hand tools safely and effectively

Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Assist with problem-solving and provide input to improve processes and quality

Comply with all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures

What we're looking for

Proficient in MIG welding

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Skilled in the use of fabrication machinery and hand tools

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Good problem-solving and teamwork skills

Current driver's licence
