About the role

We are looking for a part-time Senior Stylist to join a small and friendly team at our Aveda Salon, The Sandy Chair in Sandringham, Victoria. In this role you would be responsible for providing high-quality hair services to our valued clients. This is an opportunity to work in a peaceful relaxed environment with a down to earth clientele who value beautiful healthy hair and as a team player to contribute to the ongoing success of our well-established salon.

What you'll be doing

Providing high quality hairstyling services, including cuts, colours, styling and treatments

Consulting with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and recommending personalised services

Maintaining a professional and welcoming environment in the salon

Actively participating in a team culture and contributing to the effective running of the salon

What we're looking for

Experience as a qualified hairstylist, with an emphasis on client service

Proficiency in a range of hair services, including cutting, colouring, styling, and treatments

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues

A passion for Hairdressing and working in a salon environment

A professional, organised, and reliable approach to work

A positive attitude and a willingness to contribute to the team's success
