Winery & Cellar Bar is a restaurant focused on quality, and we are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Chef to join our team in Healesville, Yarra Valley.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan & prepare a variety of dishes cooked over charcoal
  • Ensure food quality, presentation, and taste to meet company standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen
  • Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as a Chef in a professional kitchen for at least 1 year
  • Have relevant trade qualifications and skills
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations
  • Strong knowledge and competence cooking over charcoal
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Availability to work full time, including weekends

The role is 4 straight shifts, approx 38 hours a week. Thursday to Sunday.

SALARY RANGE

$70,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. (Plus superannuation & tips)
