At Rite Price Heating and Cooling we are a leading provider of air conditioning and refrigeration services in Melbourne, VIC. This full-time role will see you responsible for the installation of Ducted Air conditioning and wall split systems.

The Successful applicant will receive a company vehicle and be required to work in a small team environment but also be able to work unsupervised and independently.

Qualifications & experience

• Experience in mechanical plumbing and refrigeration
• Highly developed interpersonal skills. Must be able to converse professionally with a broad range of people
• Solid understanding of OH&S Requirements
• Excellent customer service skills
• Must have current drivers licence and be willing to travel
• Must have a full set of hand tools
• White or Red card required
• Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and building positive relationships with clients
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• A current driver's licence and reliable transportation

Tasks & responsibilities

• Installation of various Domestic HVAC Solutions including but not limited to, Heating & Cooling, Reverse-cycle Heating & Cooling Ducted Systems, VRV systems, Multi-Head reverse cycle systems, Evaporative Coolers, Ventilation, Gas Ducted Heating
• Provide service, maintenance and repairs to various types of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment
• Establish and maintain strong client relationships
• Determine job priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
• Ensure materials required are on hand for each project, prior to attendance to ensure maximum efficiency
• Supervise and provide mentoring to apprentices
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety
• Keep accurate records and documentation of all work undertaken
