About the role

Monterosso Early Learning is looking for an experienced and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our vibrant team in Red Hill, VIC. This full-time role will see you play a crucial part in providing high-quality early learning and care alongside our small passionate and highly dedicated team.

In this role, you will work between our 3YO & 4YO kindergarten studios (38 hrs p/week)

What you'll be doing

Work alongside our Teaching team to delivery high quality education and care alongside children 3-5 years of age.

Foster a nurturing, inclusive and stimulating learning environment that supports the social, emotional, physical and cognitive development of children

Contribute and participate in delivering our Curriculum

Developing a strong understanding of Reggio Emilia approach through professional development

Work collaboratively with our teaching team

Uphold our high quality practice in keeping with the NQF

Build strong relationships with children, families and the local community

What we're looking for

Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care

5 years Experience working as an Early Childhood Educator, ideally in a long day care with Kinder age children.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build warm, trusting relationships with children and families

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to professional development (we work with Educational Mentor Dr Deborah Harcourt)

Good understanding of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework

Current Working with Children Check, Child protection, First Aid
