$60,000 - 70,000 + Super depending on experience
Our client is an IT Managed Services Company and has been operational for over 20 years. They have been working with medium and large corporate and government clients and due to expansion and growth, they are seeking a Helpdesk /Desktop Support Technician to join their growing team, this role provides extensive variety and career progression.
As part of the technical team, you will troubleshoot all level 1 and 2 helpdesk/desktop support issues. You will work as part of a technical team to assist with troubleshooting technical issues and have the opportunity to grow your skills.
You will be based at a dedicated client site throughout the week as part of the technical team and be supporting the client environment.
To be successful you will have experience with the following:
Must have a minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role to be considered
Excellent customer service including clear verbal communication
Experience with Windows AD group policy
Basic experience troubleshooting Windows 7-10
Basic experience troubleshooting Microsoft Office suite including Teams and OneDrive
Previous exposure supporting and fixing hardware issues including printers, desktops and laptops
Basic experience troubleshooting O365 including Sharepoint
Basic experience troubleshooting Google Apps including Gmail & GDrive.
Exposure to basic network troubleshooting LAN/WAN/VLAN
Basic experience troubleshooting IOS and Android
Basic experience troubleshooting Windows desktop/laptop support, primarily Windows 7/10 and Office 2013/2016.
Good problem-solving and documentation skills.
Must be proactive and willing to go the extra mile
Must have a driver's license and own a car
The successful candidate must be well-presented, have excellent communication and written skills, and be customer-centric. A driver's license and a car are required. Must hold permanent work rights to work in Australia or will not be considered.
