They are on the lookout for a full-function Credit Officer / Accounts Receivable Officer to be part of their high-performing finance team and contribute to a company that is truly making a difference.

Reporting to the Credit Manager, your responsibilities will include (but not limited too):

• Collect and verify credit information, maintaining accurate records and managing overdue accounts to reduce outstanding balances
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies or claims
• Assess the creditworthiness of potential clients for account approval
• Verify references to ensure accurate credit assessments
• Advise customers and sales teams on credit policies to ensure compliance
• Monitor overdue accounts, contact clients for payments, and prepare collection status reports
• Resolve discrepancies noted in exception reports from current operations
• Ensure all activities comply with Workplace Health and Safety standards
• Assist with administrative tasks like inbox management, invoicing, credit notes, and refunds
• Handle high-volume debtor calls, resolving payment issues efficiently

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience in managing end-to-end Accounts Receivable/Credit Controller functions
• Driven and results-oriented with a strong focus on effective debt collection and impeccable attention to detail
• Proactive communicator with a relationship-focused approach to delivering outstanding customer service
• Expert time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to thrive both independently and as part of a high-performing, collaborative team
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of your work
