Role Overview
As the Group Finance Manager, you will be leading accounting, financial planning, reporting, and compliance, ensuring financial stability and alignment with strategic goals. Managing the finance team of 5 direct reports, optimising processes, and support decision-making to drive operational excellence.

Reporting directly to the Business Services Manager with a dotted line report into the CFO.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leadership and department heads.
• Lead and mentor the finance team.
• Promote financial accountability.

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and reports.
• Monitor cash flow, revenue, and expenditures.
• Provide financial insights to senior management.

• Ensure compliance with Australian Accounting Standards and tax regulations.
• Oversee audits and manage tax obligations.

• Assist in budgeting and forecasting.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities.

• Support financial strategies aligned with business goals.
• Integrate emerging financial technologies.

• Improve finance processes for efficiency and compliance.
• Collaborate on enhancing ERP/EPM systems.

• Maintain financial data oversight and manage debtor levels.
• Ensure proper billing and invoice approvals.

• Manage finance projects for timely, budget-friendly delivery.
• Develop metrics to track project success.

Qualifications & Experience

• 5+ years in financial management.
• Expertise in Australian financial regulations and taxation.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial software.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance (CAANZ, CPA, IPA).
• Experience with finance tech and transformation projects.
