We are expanding and looking for an experienced Audio Visual (AV) Installation Technician for our Sydney operations. This role involves installing high-quality AV, IoT, Physical Security, and Networking equipment to meet client needs.

Our clients include mid-market and enterprise businesses, as well as government agencies, with projects in both new constructions and retrofits, so you’ll be working in both construction sites as well as corporate office environments.

• At least 2 years Audio Visual installation experience in commercial building and corporate environments inclusive of installing, moving and modifying audio visual equipment and other related equipment according to job specifications and standards
• Identifying and diagnosing basic equipment malfunctions
• Maintaining, testing and repairing equipment according to manufacturer recommendations and specifications
• Adjusting and replacements of worn and defective equipment and wiring
• Providing guidance and training to customers on correct operating procedures when required
• Systems functionality testing
• Reporting and maintaining accurate records of installation processes
• Performing additional functions incidental to installation activities Skills and experience required for the position
• ACMA certified (Open Cabling license)
• AQF Certificate III or equivalent including at least two years of on-the-job training
• Fantastic communication & interpersonal skills; confidence in dealing with others. Skilled in reading building plans, Audio-Visual schematics and signal flow
• Experienced in installing Audio-Visual cabling and pathways
• Skilled in devising creative worksite solutions for installations challenges.
• Current Construction Industry White Card
• Elevated Work Platform (EWP) certificate highly regarded Current Police Check (within 3 years)
• Current Driver’s Licence + must be an Australian Resident or Citizen
• A Class 2C Security Security Equipment Specialist license is desirable

Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 ex Super
