Position Overview:

Montessori Noosa are excited to offer an opportunity for a dedicated, experienced and qualified Montessori Guide with Queensland College of Teachers registration to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be deeply committed to Montessori philosophy, possess a strong understanding of child development, and be enthusiastic about creating a nurturing and stimulating educational environment.

The position is full time, fixed term for 1 year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement a Montessori curriculum that caters to the individual needs of the child.
• Maintain a prepared environment that encourages children to independently explore and learn.
• Accurately assess student progress and maintain detailed records.
• Engage with parents and the school community to support the holistic development of each child.
• Participate in professional development and contribute to the school community.
• Ensure compliance with the educational standards and regulations as outlined by the Queensland College of Teachers.
• Having STEM knowledge and an understanding of incorporating Indigenous perspectives in the curriculum, a bonus.

Qualifications:

• Montessori Diploma.
• Current teaching registration in Queensland.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
• Proven experience in a Montessori classroom environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for Montessori education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
