Two of our wonderful Primary Teachers are heading off on maternity leave and we seek passionate and engaging Primary Teachers to replace them on a 12-month contract. As a teacher in our Primary school, you will be contributing to an exceptional learning environment that promotes the strong aims of an independent Christian School.

Two, Full-time maternity cover positions are available starting Term 3 2025. (one in Year 2 and one in Year 3)

To be successful, you will have:

An active Christian faith

A passionate supporter of Christian Education

QCT Registration (or eligibility)

Familiarity with the QCAA syllabuses

Evidence of innovative classroom practices

A high standard of competency and proficiency as a classroom teacher (however beginning teachers may apply)

Excellent knowledge and understanding of the integration of technology in the delivery of learning

Demonstrated understanding of how students learn through effective classroom teaching strategies and the capacity to work with colleagues to continually improve teaching and learning

Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills, critical analysis and problem-solving skills

Ability to work proactively within a collaborative teaching team
