As a Storeperson or Leading Hand, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and supervising a team of 6 ensuring the smooth operation of the dispatch from stock control, inwards goods, receipting, deliveries and checking of paperwork and making sure all items have been delivered.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of 6 dispatch staff
• Ensure all dispatch processes are efficient and to the highest quality standards
• Load and unload of deliveries operating a forklift
• Monitor work schedules and ensure on-time completion of tasks
• Maintain a safe and organised work environment
• Collaborate with production manager to optimise dispatch processes
• Identify and report any quality or safety issues
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss progress and improvements

Experience & Qualifications

• Warehouse, Distribution or Manufacturing background
• Stock control, cycle counts, stock takes and operate a computer
• Handle raw materials i.e.: glass, aluminium, hardware or timber
• Leadership, communication skills with attention to detail
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Safety-conscious with a proactive approach to workplace safety

Pay Breakdown:

$33 Per Hour Full Time

+ $1 Per Hour First Aid

+ $1.50 Per Hour Team Leader

$35.50 Per Hour

+ $350 Per Month Fuel Allowance
