A unique opportunity has come up with our global e-commerce womenswear brand here in Sydney for a Senior Merchandise Planner to join their team!

As the sole Senior Planner you will design and implement strategic merchandise plans to enhance sales, profitability, and inventory management, therefore a strategic forward-thinking mindset is essential.

A proven track record of collaborating closely with all departments and leverage forecasting and data insights to innovate new products and refine existing styles, while ensuring alignment with seasonal trends and promotional strategies.

Day to day responsibilities will include developing and executing merchandise plans that drive sales and optimise inventory against analytical sales trends and historical data to forecast demand and manage stock levels.

Whilst you will be collaborating with the product and buying departments of the business you will be the sole planner; therefore you will already have the experience in creating strategy, impeccable attention to detail, implement innovative software for better business efficiencies, framework for planning, and comfortable within a fast-paced environment with forever changing needs and demands.

Your profile -

• A Bachelor's degree in analytics, fashion merchandising, or related qualification
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in fashion retail and/or ecommerce retail merchandising/planning
• Strong analytical abilities and knowledge of retail maths and inventory principles.

Please note this role is full-time 5 days a week in office, which is based in Alexandria.
