Known for its outsourced CEO advisory services to SMEs, the firm has helped well over 1,000 businesses across ANZ achieve growth, succession planning, or successful exits, with a 90%+ success rate in boosting profitability, cash flow, and positive workplace culture within its first year.
Following the appointment of a new CEO, the company is refining its strategy to expand its advisory and mentoring services. The Role
Reporting to the Head of Coaching and CEO, the Senior Business Advisor will provide hands-on guidance to founder-led SMEs, driving growth, efficiency, and long-term value. This role focuses on scaling, optimising structures, and preparing for exits or succession for the Founders.
As a Senior Business Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth, scalability, and long-term strategic value for your client portfolio comprising founder-led SMEs. Reporting to the Head of Coaching and CEO, you will provide expert advisory services that enable businesses to optimise operations, enhance financial performance, and prepare for successful exits or succession plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Growth & Exit Readiness - Design and implement scalable business models, support expansion strategies, and guide businesses through exit planning, including succession, private equity, and IPO readiness.
- Financial Optimisation & Capital Strategy - Strengthen financial structures, maximise profitability, and secure funding from investors, venture capital, or private equity.
- Organisational Development & Leadership - Build high-performing executive teams, develop succession plans, and implement performance management frameworks for operational excellence.
- Operational Efficiency & Process Improvement - Enhance business scalability through automation, data-driven decision-making, and performance tracking systems.
- Strategic Sales & Market Positioning - Drive customer acquisition, refine pricing models, and integrate advanced sales and marketing automation to sustain revenue growth.
- Risk & Governance Advisory - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, mitigate financial and operational risks, and support legal and contractual risk management.

Your Profile
The ideal candidate is an accomplished business advisor with a proven track record of scaling SMEs, optimising financial performance, and driving strategic growth.
You could have operated as a CEO / GM or CFO within a business, or have been working within a senior relationship management role advising clients within a corporate sector such as financial services.
You will seek long-term impact for your clients and enjoy being the trusted advisor and the responsibility with which this comes.

Key Qualifications & Experience:
- 7+ years in business advisory, financial consulting, or mid management/executive leadership.
- Experience with scaling businesses SME businesses
- Background in M&A, capital raising, and exit planning preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related fields (MBA, AICD)
