What You’ll Be Doing

  • Financial Reporting & Dashboards – Lead consolidated & business unit reporting, delivering clear, visually engaging dashboards for senior leadership.
  • Cost Analysis & Financial Transparency – Help dissect and segment financial data to provide detailed cost insights across multiple business units.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting – Partner with key stakeholders to develop budgets, analyse variances, and support long-term planning.
  • Financial Systems & ERP Integration – Assist in evaluating, selecting, and implementing a new enterprise consolidation system to streamline reporting.
  • Stakeholder Engagement – Work closely with non-financial leaders, translating complex financial data into clear business insights.

Who We’re Looking For

  • CA/CPA/CIMA qualified with at least five years of experience (or two years post-qualification).
  • Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and cost analysis.
  • Advanced Excel and ERP systems experience (Tech One preferred).
  • Strong communicator with the ability to explain financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Hands-on and autonomous – Comfortable setting up financial processes from scratch in a newly created role.
  • Tech-savvy and data-driven – Passion for dashboards, reporting, and financial modelling.

The Location – Cairns, QLD
This role is based in Cairns, where the organisation’s finance hub is located. With two additional offices in the Northern Territory, you’ll gain exposure to business units across multiple locations.
