Welder and General Maintenance

Hours: Full Time position – 38 hours per week

Salary: Starting at $69 160.00 Plus super

Location: Dungarubba (Northern Rivers) NSW

Australian Concrete Posts Pty Ltd is a 100% family-owned company and are the largest manufacturer of prestressed concrete fence posts in Australia.

The role is based at Dungarubba manufacturing site, reports to the Company Manager and is part of our small team.

You will be responsible for providing onsite maintenance and repairs. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring year round reliability and efficiency of our equipment

The following skill sets /licenses will be highly regarded:

Most importantly be reliable, punctual and willing to work in a workshop based environment

Multitasking abilities, self-managed and be able to prioritise your time

Good communication skills

Welding, grinding, fitting and general repairs. Efficient use of hand tools, torches, competence in TIG/MIG and stick welding various types of materials.

Maintain hoist, pumps, vibrators, kibbles, and other ad hock duties on the factory floor.

General handy person and trade duties, prepared to take on any maintenance, repair or improvement challenge that may arise

You will need to participate in the safe and efficient operation of manufacturing plant machinery, equipment and tools and adhere to WHS requirements and safe work methods.

Forklift and EWP ticket is desirable but not essential
