Senior QA Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior QA Analyst to join our clients team. They're a large, global organisation committed to innovation and excellence.

About the Role:

As a Senior QA Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our systems and solutions. You will collaborate with business and technical stakeholders, define test scopes, identify test scenarios, develop and execute test cases (both manual and automated), and manage defect triage processes. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring designs and solutions meet business needs and high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and review test strategies, plans, scenarios, and cases.
• Execute manual and automated tests across the development lifecycle.
• Provide QA perspective during solution design.
• Identify, report, and track software defects.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Produce Test Summary Reports and sprint status updates.
• Collaborate with Developers, Release Managers, and DevOps Engineers.
• Identify test automation opportunities.

Key Selection Criteria:

• Degree in Information Technology or related field with 8+ years of relevant experience (3+ years as a Senior Testing Analyst).
• Demonstrated experience with global digital transformation programs. Experience with software testing as part of IT development, implementation of applications or infrastructure projects & programs including Agile and Waterfall initiatives and projects.
• Proficiency with testing tools like Jira and TestRail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in large, multi-site, national organisation/s and with large IT Projects (>$5 million) containing significant organisational change components.
• Sound knowledge of SQL and Data Warehousing with ability to write complex SQL queries.
• Good levels of technical knowledge across application platforms, cloud, infrastructure and network, development frameworks, integration, UX/UI and more.
• Good knowledge of API Testing and API Testing tools such as SoapUI and ReadyAPI.
• Understanding and ability to create automated test cases using automation tools like Selenium.
• Experience with Java and Cucumber.
• Understanding and ability to work with Postman or ReadyAPI.
• Experience with Playwright or an equivalent test automation framework.
• Peoplesoft (SAMS) application experience advantageous
