As a Lecturer you will bring your experience and expertise in Electrical trades to plan, develop and deliver training and assessment to students in this study area, including apprentice, pre-apprenticeship and pre-vocational.

As a lecturer :

• you will bring your experience and expertise in Electrical trades to plan, develop and deliver training and assessment to students in this study area, including apprentice, pre-apprenticeship and pre-vocational
• your primary role is to teach, facilitate learning, assess and mentor students in accordance with relevant curriculum and/or training package requirements
• you will undertake Professional Activities and Activities Related to Delivery
• In order to maintain quality educational services, lecturers are required to keep abreast of technological and other developments in their field through professional development to
• You provide up-to-date information and advice to the College and industry, where appropriate
• You have a technical background to understand and relate to the team and students
• It is essential that you are able to mentor and have common sense
• you will bring a positive attitude and have a professional attitude
• you have excellent communication and written skills
• you are Australian citizen or permanent resident
• you hold a WA Electrical Licence
• you have completed several years in your Electrical trade
• you hold a Electrical trade certificate

On offer is : A fulltime permanent role, 5 days a week, Monday to Friday and 37.6 hours

• Salary starts from $101.402 - $120,000 + superannuation per year depending on level of experience and qualifications
• Training to complete Cert IV in Training and Assessment available for the right candidate
• Working from the brand new Balga TAFE facilities but you may need to cover other campuses as required (this does not happen often)
