Amcor Flexibles Asia Pacific have an exciting opening for two full time Safety Advisors. These positions report to the ANZ HSE Manager and will be located at our Moorabbin 87 VIC Site & Acacia Ridge QLD respectively. The successful candidates will be part of a team who are on a journey to drive cultural change in safety performance. The key accountabilities and tasks for these roles are to support the operations management team with:

Facilitating key risk reduction projects through the development of action plans and execution of projects to sustain change

Implementing the ANZ HSE Management System including policy and procedure with key stakeholders

Achieving site specific plans, reducing risk and improving safety (e.g. high-risk hazards, hazard registers, property protection, injury reduction, Amcor HSE Standards actions) through coaching and training of Operations Team and Safety Representatives

The right candidates will be or have:

A self-starter with a strong results orientation and attention to detail

The ability to relate to people across all levels

Strong negotiation and communications skills

Comfortable with significant change and drive for Continuous Improvement

Demonstrated experience motivating and influencing others

Resilient with a strong ‘hands on’ style

Qualifications/Requirements:

A diploma level qualification in Occupational Health and Safety

A minimum of 3 to 5 years demonstrated experience in site safety management, preferably in a manufacturing environment
