About the role

As a Duty Manager at the newly renovated Bridgewater Inn, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of this bustling hospitality establishment. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will oversee a range of day-to-day operations, from managing staff and inventory, resolving customer queries, TAB, Gaming, Bottleshop and maintaining high standards of service. This full-time position is based at our Bridgewater, SA 5155 location.

What you'll be doing

Supervising and coordinating the work of front-line staff, including bartenders, and wait staff

Handling customer enquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner

Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations

Assisting with the planning and execution of events and functions

Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes

Providing leadership, training, and development to the wider team

What we're looking for

Significant experience (3+ years) in a supervisory or managerial role within the hospitality industry

A proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and resolving complex issues

Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a collaborative management style

Current RSA, RP, RSG

A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to providing an outstanding guest experience
