About the role
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Scientist Officer to join our team, supporting the production and supply of life-saving cardiovascular tissue grafts. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to critical healthcare innovation while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Support: Assist in the manufacture and supply of cardiovascular tissue grafts, ensuring high standards of quality, efficiency, and accuracy throughout the production process.
- Record & Documentation Management: Support the Product Manager in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, files, and procedure manuals to ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in ongoing quality monitoring and improvement initiatives to uphold the integrity and performance of the products produced.
- Confidentiality Commitment: Ensure the confidentiality of all donor and recipient records, adhering to strict privacy and security protocols.
- Flexible Support: Be ready to participate in out-of-hours and weekend work as part of an on-call roster once fully trained, ensuring continuity of production and quality control.
About you
- Tertiary qualification or substantial experience in Health or Life Sciences, with knowledge of human anatomy and medical terminology.
- Strong attention to detail, able to follow procedures and proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent time management skills, able to prioritize tasks and work independently or as part of a team.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with team members and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of surgical aseptic techniques and experience working in a sterile or clean room environment.
