We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled mixed-methods researcher to contribute to the development and implementation of eSafety's research activities, engage with diverse stakeholders and co-author high quality, engaging research publications.

The Research Officer position sits within eSafety's Research and Evaluation Team which focuses on supporting, encouraging, conducting and evaluating research about online safety for Australians.

We do this so:

• our programs, policies and regulatory functions are evidence-informed
• robust, person-centred evidence on the prevalence and impact of online harms is available to stakeholders
• the evidence base on what works to prevent and remediate online harms continues to grow.

Mandatory qualifications and experience for the role:

• An undergraduate degree (or higher) in social science, criminology, or a related discipline.
• Professional experience in applied research.
