Join us as a Employee Relations Advisor in this leadership role.
This newly created part time (0.8) FTE role is designed an integral part of the People Partnering and Services Team. We have an exciting year of projects ahead and are keen to have an experienced ER expert on board to support our managers and teams through a changing environment.
About the Role
Provide accurate and strategic specialist Employee Relations advice and support to the business.
Case manage (or support P&C Business Partners to manage) grievances, ER matters and investigations
Support the development and maintenance of employee relations framework including policy, procedure and process development and documentation
Provide subject matter expertise for and compliance with IR legislation, our Enterprise Agreement and other industrial requirements
Lead a team of 2 P&C Generalists to efficient and effective execution of core P&C operational functions (e.g. recruitment administration, onboarding, employee data management, employment compliance documentation, and other employee life cycle processes)
Ensure accuracy of people data in the HRIS system
About you:
You have experience in providing employee relations advice to managers in a similar environment (highly casualised) or industry
You have experience in leading and developing capability in small teams, within a similar P&C Operations environment
You have expertise in managing significant ER matters, including leading investigations in complex ER cases, in accordance with policies, procedures and legislation
You have experience in representing the employer with the union, and with bodies like the Fair Work Commission
You possess sound communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
You can apply your coordination, analytical, and organisational skills to lead programs of work with multiple stakeholders
