About the role

Edmonton Family Medical Centre is seeking a Registered or Enrolled Nurse to join our team at our general practice located in Edmonton, Queensland. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to contribute to the provision of patient care within a supportive and collaborative environment.

What you'll be doing

Providing quality nursing care to patients, including administering medications, dressings and various clinical procedures

Assisting with the management of patient appointments, including triaging, scheduling, and record-keeping

Collaborating with the clinical team to co-ordinate patient care and ensure a seamless experience

Maintaining a safe and hygienic clinical environment, adhering to infection control protocols

Participating in continuous professional development activities to enhance your skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

Registration as a Registered or Enrolled Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Demonstrated experience in a general practice or primary care setting, preferably within the last 2-3 years

Strong clinical skills, with a focus on patient-centred care and a commitment to quality outcomes

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Proficiency in using medical software and electronic health record systems
