Position Overview:
As a Registered Nurse (Clinical) at ADS, you will play a crucial role in delivering individualised care while ensuring the safety and well-being of our clients. Your ability to effectively manage human and physical resources is vital in coordinating and delivering client care that honors their choices, culture, and dignity. We seek an energetic leader who embodies the ADS values of Passion, Purpose, and Principles, providing expert care with love and compassion.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide safe, comprehensive nursing care to clients in alignment with ADS policies and Aged Care Accreditation Standards.
Liaise effectively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure personalised care delivery.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement in service delivery and participate in quality assurance initiatives.
Maintain oversight of team management, ensuring that both clinical and non-clinical responsibilities are effectively executed.
Take a proactive approach in identifying safety and wellbeing issues in the workplace and communicate relevant matters to management promptly.
Support and guide fellow staff members, cultivate high standards of care, and engage in training opportunities to enhance team competency.
Essential Criteria:
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with demonstrated clinical experience.
Strong understanding of the Aged Care Act and Aged Care Accreditation Standards.
Previous experience working with individuals from CALD backgrounds, with a commitment to embracing diversity.
Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to write and speak fluent English.
Comfortable using technology (smartphones, computers) and can impart knowledge to others regarding tech usage.
Proven team leadership experience in both clinical and non-clinical capacities.
Desirable Criteria:
Clinical nursing experience within the last five years.
Postgraduate qualifications in Aged Care or Palliative Care.
Bilingual or bicultural abilities, enhancing communication with diverse clients.
