Key responsibilities
• The “region” is the fundamental geographical unit within Program Delivery and Operations (PDO) branch that describes how the operational delivery functions and activities are discharged. There are six (6) regions and ten (10) districts across the state.
• South Coast Region • North Coast Region • Metropolitan Region
• North Queensland Region

o Northern District
o North West District
• Southern Queensland Region
o Darling Downs District
o South West District
o Wide Bay/Burnett District
• Central Queensland Region
o Fitzroy District
o Central West District
o Mackay/Whitsunday District
The Deputy Regional Director (North Coast) has two distinct roles:
• State-Wide: Assist the Program Delivery and Operations Leadership Team (PDOLT) by delivering certain state-wide projects/activities consistently.
• Regional: Reporting and advice to the Regional Director on operational delivery and collaboration with peers on regional functions. Leading the day-to-day consistent delivery of projects and operational stewardship activity within the region.
