Looking for Electrician to work with rail manufacturer on Afternoon shift.

Description

Your responsibilities will include:

• Installing and assembling looms and electrical cubicles.
• To read and follow detailed work instructions.
• Adhering to all established safety procedures.
• Reporting on activities, identifying issues, and outlining corrective actions.
• Actively participating in all training courses provided.
• Engaging in any cross-functional activities as required.
• Performing any additional duties as directed by the Shift Leader, EPU Manager or Line Manager.
• Following established safety protocols, maintaining good housekeeping practices, and using safety equipment as necessary.

Profile

You will require the following to be successfully considered for this position:

• Previous experience working in rail is highly desirable.
• Experience working to tight deadlines and in a high-pressure environment.
• Flexible and adaptable
• Able to work in both a team and individual environments
• Able to obtain and use the necessary information to make decisions
• Pass a medical, police check and other compliance requirements

Job Offer

• Location: Dandenong South
• Work hours: Initially, during training, from 0600 to 1430 hrs, transitioning to 1400 to 2230 hrs.
• Pay Rate: $60/hr + Super + Penalties + Shift loading (15% if applicable)
• As part of the recruitment process, a drug & alcohol test and police check will be required during onboarding.
