• $55 per hour + penalties + super
• 10 hour days are on track for $156,000+ per annum
• Work with crushers and various civil earth moving equipment on a blue metal quarry.
• Have the opportunity to work a local 2:1 roster in Byford, after probation

About the Role:
Work on a range of Crushers and Civil equipment such as: Komatsu PC Diggers, CAT D9 & D10, Hitachi EX Diggers, CAT 777 Trucks

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident with unlimited working rights.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical.
• Have a Trade Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, with skills in crushers and break downs.
• Have some experience working with CAT, Komatsu and Hitachi civil equipment.
• Be experienced working around Watercarts and Service Trucks.
• Diagnostic fault finding on mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and air systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Complete scheduled repairs including component change-outs and preventative maintenance
• Perform inspections to assess and scope defects accurately and in a timely manner
• Conduct breakdown diagnostics and repair
• Complete tasks efficiently, use initiative and seek opportunities to improve practices and cost reduction
• Work and communicate effectively with other team members to prioritise tasks and achieve deadlines.

Benefits:

• 6am to 4pm Monday to Friday with occasional optional Saturday shifts available. Overtime available.
• The quarry is located in Byford with site work.
